The service enables users to purchase school text book sets with  other accessories like stationery etc., as prescribed by such institutions.  Upon placing an order, Prime Books shall ship / deliver the sets to you along  with detailed invoice on the dates to be communicated by the institution to us  which is usually after the declaration of the annual results.

You should carefully read our full Privacy  Policy before deciding to become a User as it is hereby incorporated into this  Agreement by reference, and governs our treatment of any information, including  personally identifiable information you submit to us. Please note that certain  information, statements, data, and content which you may submit to the website,  or groups, or are likely to, reveal your gender, age, and/or other personal  information about you, Debit card, credit card details. Cancellation by Prime Books:
Please note that there may be  certain orders that we are unable to accept and we need to cancel the order. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled  include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or  errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit  and fraud avoidance department. Payment:

Tax: 
  Value Added Tax (VAT) is an indirect tax which is  consumption based and is levied by the state government to be borne / paid by  the ultimate consumer / shopper. 
Delivery:
  Due to change in syllabus or for any other  exigencies, certain books might remain out of print at the time of delivery.  Same can happen with other products as well for various reasons. While we try  to ensure timely and complete deliveries, however; in case something remains  pending, the same shall be supplied as soon as the same is made available to us  by the publisher / manufacturer.

Post Delivery: 
  Returns and Cancellations conditions:
  Prime Books will accept return only if the following conditions are applied.

-  » Return  should be initiated within 3 days of order delivery. 
-  » The price  tags, labels on the product should be intact.

You agree that Prime Books shall neither be liable nor responsible  for any actions or inactions of the makers, any breach of conditions,  representations or warranties by the manufacturer of the products.
Users shall perform their obligations in respect of the  transaction concluded on this Site and further expressly disclaims any  warranties or representations express or implied in respect of quality, safety,  merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or legality of the products  listed and transacted on primebooks.net.in. Prime Books will not be responsible  for unsatisfactory or delayed performance of services or damages or delays as a  result of items, which are out of stock, back ordered, returned undelivered or  otherwise unavailable. All items are offered only for a restricted time and  only for the available supply/till stocks last. Prime Books accepts no  liability for any errors or omissions, whether on behalf of itself or third  parties.
Cancellations: 
Prime Books will not accept the Cancellation  request once the ordered material has been shipped/delivered. Once a  cancellation request is made, it will take Prime Books a maximum of two weeks  to cancel the order and initiate a refund.

  Non-Waiver:
  Any forbearance or failure by us to enforce a provision  to which you are subject shall not affect our right to require such performance  at any subsequent time, nor shall the waiver or forbearance by us of any breach  of any provisions of the agreement herein be taken to be or held to be a waiver  of the provision or provisions itself of themselves.
  
  Severability: 
  If any provision of the Terms is determined to be  invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity or  unenforceability shall attach only to such provision or part of such provision  and the remaining part of such provision and all other provisions of these  Terms shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Cancellation of Fraudulent/Loss to business Orders: 
  To provide a safe and secure shopping experience,  we regularly monitor transactions for fraudulent activity. 
  In the event of  detecting any suspicious activity, Prime Books reserves the right to cancel all  past, pending and future orders without any liability.      Prime Books also  reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in scenarios like inaccuracies in  pricing of product on website and stock     unavailability.  We may also require  additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will  contact you if all or any portion of your order is            cancelled or if additional information  is required to accept your order. 
  If your order is cancelled after your card  has been charged, the said amount will be reversed to your Card Account.

Cancellation of Bulk Orders 
  Prime Books may cancel any orders that classify as 'Bulk Order' under  certain criteria at any stage of the product delivery. An order can be  classified as 'Bulk Order' if it meets with the below mentioned criteria, and  any additional criteria as defined by Prime Books: 
  Products ordered are not for self-consumption but for commercial resale 
  -  » Multiple  orders placed for same product at the same address, depending on the product  category
-  » Bulk  quantity of the same product ordered
-  » Invalid  address given in order details
-  » Any  malpractice used to place the order
Process for Pilferage Claim: 
  If a customer raises a complaint for partial item/partial orders through  Customer Care.
  
  The customer is supposed to claim for pilferage within 48 hours of  delivery failing which the claim will not be entertained.
  
  1. An Email will be sent seeking/providing following information:
  -  » Short  description of the case (A few questions will be asked to help us understand  the scenario) 
-  » The  snapshots of the packet and other box(If any)(Try to cover the sides which look  tampered/damaged as per the customer)
-  » The refund  for prepaid orders will be done after investigation which usually requires 8-10  business days. The process will include investigation with the concerned  departments
2. The customer may not be liable for a refund if  he/she falls in any of the scenarios stated below: 
  -  » Customer  fails to provide adequate information about the case 
-  » Customer  fails to provide snapshots of the packet and box(if any) 
-  » If an  opened delivery was received, pilferage claims must be made the same day 
-  » Customer  must not dispose the packaging for 3-4 days post-delivery. We might need to  pick-up your packaging for investigation at our end.
